Description
This art was created in 2011. This art is created after the artist visited the Laura Gale house in Oak Park, Illinois. The building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It was completed in 1909. Frank Lloyd Wright said that this house was the "prelude" to his famous house perched on a waterfall, "Fallingwater".
ARTIST NOTE: Years ago this home was up for sale. My wife and I went to the home and had an extensive tour. We made and offer on the house. The owner declined so we bought another house. Six months later this Frank Lloyd Wright treasure sold for the exact price we offered. Some things are just not meant to be. - J.B.
This is the rectangular version of this art. I also have a square version of this art. I have tried to keep the same feeling in the square version as the rectangular piece has.
