This art was created in 2011. The art is what the Alamo probably looked after the 13 day siege in 1836.
ARTIST NOTE: In this art, I did extensive research as to how the Alamo looked at the time of the famous battle. This rendering, I believe is pretty close to how things may have looked. Fractals were added over the Alamo to give it a "ghostly" feel. The famous "hump" on the Alamo was not there at the time of the battle, nor were the windows on the Left and Right upper sides. - J.B.
This is the rectangular version of this art. I also have a square version of this art. I have tried to keep the same feeling in the square version as the rectangular piece has.

Studio B Prints offers the work of John Robert Beck. My work is about the beauty of how forms work with each other, very similar to classical music. My work is free form, yet structured. The use of color, shapes and form blend with each other to give what I think are some remarkable effects. Each of my works evolves through many stages. Like an orchestral work, I create different elements on layers (like the different instruments in an orchestra). These layers overlap, some being transparent, some bold and bright. As I create, I tweak each aspect of the art until I am satisfied with the finished product. I look at myself as a conductor when I bring each element in and out of the overall work to create vibrant musical color.
